The
Carrick region has large stretches
of both North and South Coasts. In
the North there are plenty of popular
family beaches such as Perranporth and
Holywell Bay. In the South there are
pleasant beaches too, both on the
coast and in the large Carrick Roads
estuary, which leads all the way to
Truro. |

There
are many attractive towns and
villages to visit in the estuary and on
the coast. There is also much to see
at the busy port of Falmouth, including
the National Maritime Museum.

Inland,
Cornwall's only city Truro is also
well worth a visit.
Access to the North is
provided by the A30 trunk road and in
the south, the A390 leads from the
East of Cornwall to Truro.
