A deceptively large stretch of white sand with a huge expanse of sand at low tide. There are extensive dunes. Unfortunately there is only very limited road parking and there are no facilities |
 Directions:Porth Kidney Sands is close to the village of Lelant which is approximately 3 miles from St Ives and 21 miles from Truro. Approaching from the east on the A30 take the 3rd left at the Loggans Moor roundabout to remain on the A30. At the next roundabout take the 2nd left for St Ives (A3074). Follow the A3074 to Lelant. At Lelant where the A3074 branches left, turn right. There is very limited road parking at the end of this road, before the road branches left. On the corner, by St Uny church, there is a footpath which links up with the coastpath and gives access to the estuary and also to the beach via the dunes |
